A&R Music Requests

Greetings,

I am currently in search of multiple types of music (open to any and all genres, if it fits the request noted below) for the ESSENTIAL ENERGY™ MUSIC SERIES. This will initially be a small online only project offered at the website of  internationally renowned author, speaker and healer Cyndi Dale and eventually on iTunes, Rhapsody etc. and www.injoimusic.com.


Cyndi is the author of ten books, many audio recordings and videos (Sounds True, Llwellyn, Ten Speed Press). Please visit www.cyndidale.com for more information.

Eventually, based on interest, the ESSENTIAL ENERGY™ MUSIC SERIES may evolve into a CD series – for a bigger release, as well as potential for music chosen to be used for special product use i.e. Audio books, Videos etc.

I am compiling these titles now, and need music ASAP :)

I am exploring whether you might have some music (as specifically noted below) – songs, finished CDs, unreleased tracks etc., that you feel would fit and consider having it included. Or, perhaps you know a colleague, client or friend who might want to contribute. (Both unreleased or previously released material is welcomed)

These songs need to be fully produced and completed. They need to be either Public Domain songs, songs written by you and/or co-writers/colleagues), or “Cover Songs”- that you or they can sign off and release mechanical royalties (no publishing will be paid – except on a few, if chosen, well known cover songs)  – a royalty will be paid per track based on purchased downloads – which will initially be available on Cyndi’s website, and eventually, as mentioned, on  iTunes, Rhapsody etc. and www.injoimusic.com).

If I find songs of yours that I am interested in and fit the request, I will present you with a formal License request and then if initial terms are agreed to, you will receive a Master use agreement.

This is a worldwide/non-exclusive usage deal for digital downloads.

Wherever possible and appropriate, your website address will be listed as well the potential for your photo and artist/track info.

Both instrumentals and vocals are welcomed and will be considered unless otherwise indicated.

(*IMPORTANT - vocal/lyrics must fit style and be positive and uplifting! – nothing negative, depressing or melancholy etc. for any track!
IMPORTANT – please email the lyrics for any and all submitted songs)

PLEASE DO NOT submit if your music is not a good fit.
(2 CDs of each title submitted – even if you think I have titles already) to my attention at the address below.

* In the interim you can send me Hi-res music files for listening purposes only.

Any and all submissions and materials will not be returned.Please note, that I am extremely busy with this project and others, and regretfully, I cannot dialogue and correspond with everyone whom I do not personally know or responds to this request and sends material.
