Have you heard...

“Anthony J.W. Benson has what is, in my estimation, the rarest of combinations: He blends artistry and creativity with tenacity and professionalism. His enthusiasm for the projects he works on knows no boundaries, but he has a discerning eye for quality, as well. I’ve worked the music business for close to twenty years, and this guy stands apart from the crowd. Believe me.”

Welcome to injoi Music.
This site is all about my number one professional and personal passion—MUSIC!
I have had the supreme pleasure to be in the music and entertainment business for over thirty years. Among many titles and responsibilities I have been an Agent, Manager, Producer, A&R Director, Consultant, Broker, Writer, Performer and Music Supervisor. Along the way I have schlepped amps, guitars and drums, hauled gear across the country, seen the best and worst of many clubs, ballrooms and bars (the stench of stale beer still permeates my memory), and been a part of many wonderful recordings and responsible for numerous songs finding homes.
Music has always been a haven of comfort and inspiration for me. Rock, Orchestral, Jazz, Folk, Prog, Blues and so much more. I have been blessed, as I have met and worked with some incredible people and amazing talent. The through line of my experience is that I have always been affected, changed, moved and transformed by music. My calling, and in great part my joy, is to turn others on to the beauty, the power, the truth, the intensity and the unadulterated intention of music and it’s impassioned creators.
As a fan, I have collected more albums and CDs through the years than I can count (or carry) and have developed an adept ear, appreciation, and understanding for music that goes beyond just notes and theory.
As part of my many experiences, I have been both behind the microphone and in front of it, backstage and onstage, all of which enables me to have a unique understanding and personal perspective of what my clients experience as writers and recording/performing artists.
Truth be told, I really love talent in all forms. I love creativity. I love individuality and uniqueness. And, I truly love music. I am a champion and fan of musicians, artists and performers. In my professional role, I understand how to guide and maximize the talent of others and more importantly know how to unearth and nurture their hidden talents and bring them to the forefront.
Over the years, I have worked with many artists, well known and unknown, and one common thread is their commitment to their craft and unmitigated desire to share their talent, their writing, their songs—to gift the world with what they have to offer.
To that end, I am here to be of service. Simply put, I am a catalyst for creativity and I can make a positive difference in your career, your project, your recording or ideas. Whether it be offering career advice, producing your next recording, finding a suitable home for your songs or helping you navigate the waters of the ever-changing music business, I can be of help.
I invite you to contact me to explore how we might collaborate or how I might be of service to your career, project, or recording.
In the meantime, please peruse my site. You can utilize the player on the right side rail to listen to some tracks I have produced. You can also visit the Audio and Video pages to see and hear more and check out newly uploaded tracks and videos on a regular basis.
And please return often as I will be blogging about all things music and reviewing CDs and DVDs on the Aural Language™ page.
Thanks again for visiting.  Keep listening…

    Hey there,

I love your philosopy about music and collaberation!

I am interested in talking more about collaberating on songs once I have my financing in place (next year, most likely). But since I just got here, I will browse around a bit.

    Cheers,

    Hi Anthony
Thanks for sharing this information. I know you speak about your musical passions in your speaking workshops and presentations, but I guess I never realized the depth of all your talents and passions. If I could carry a tune, I would want you in my corner and on my tour bus. Thanks, Jill
